It also has taped seams on the floor and flysheet for extensive protection against moisture. The compact dome design of the Vapor 4P is as advantageous in windy conditions as the two entrances on the sides. The latter open quickly and easily with robust, smooth-running, quiet zips with nylon sliders. The ample space provided is as much down to the zoned pre-bend design as it is to the external clips for the poles. The frame itself consists of sturdy but lightweight DAC poles that are quick and easy to put together, which, along with the colour coding of the solid components and the flysheet, makes the tent easy to erect. Despite being quick to erect, the versatile Vapor 4P backpacker tent is also reliably wind-resistant. Thanks to the lightweight materials and the pleasingly moderate packed dimensions, the tent is even easy to transport on long tours.
